Seems like a good time to point out what likable drunks Bonnie fans are. I was happy to give away my remaining tickets to some of their fans after they beat us last year at Barclays. And there is a shared hatred of vcu between us as vcu (and the refs) have screwed them several times over the years.

I wonder if Mark Schmidt had to deal with as much message board criticism as he slowly built their program to respectability?

Agreed. Bonnie fans are among the best! Humble and knowledgeable. I always welcome them.

I wonder why olean New York would be a destination for any recruit much less some more talented than we get.... he built a program up from ground. But damn the ground was a lot lower than what we have in fairfax va

He took over a program that hadn't won more than 8 games in 5 seasons, and won the A10 championship in his 5th season. Is there anyone who wouldn't want Mark Schmidt as Mason's head coach?

With all due respect to McKillop, Schmidt's the best coach in the league. I think just about all the coaches in the league feel that way about him.

The Bonnies open as 2.5-point underdogs for tomorrow's game at George Mason. Johnson may have earned a starting spot for his play at GW should English not be able to go, but I'll keep starters as they were.

Ive been to Olean a few times...whoa
Their school colors match the feeling I always got when being in Olean
They play in a gym, not an arena
Do they have a practice facility?
I think their hoops budget is in the lower 3rd (could be wrong. its middle of the pack, at best).
I'm glad he is a coach and not a car salesman in Montgomery County because I'd have a new car every year if he was.
I dont know if he is the best coach in the league, but Bonna is getting the best ROI under his watch than any other school is.
What he has been able to do is nothing short of a miracle, IMO.

St. Bonnie fans are actually pretty cool and talked to a bunch of them at the A-10 tourney at some bar across the street they had rented out last year from Barclays. They do hate vcu as well so bravo. Lofton is good..... need to contain him to around 15 points max. If he scores 20+ its game over.

Xavier/Greene needs a big game and we need to make our gaddamn layups and jumpers. Should be a close game.
