We hated roster management under Hewitt but at least we had the talent. This is bad roster management coupled with bad recruiting.

But if you're less athletic, you'd at least hope, we'd have guys who could shoot consistently from deep. We don't have either, which is a problem, to say the least.

Am I crazy, or is Santos Silva the only really impressive player out there? I'm not all that impressed with vcu this year, which makes it suck all the more that we can't compete with them. We will win a bunch more games this year, but if we can't even compete with a halfway-decent vcu team, what's the point? We are still not in the same league as the top teams in the A-10 and I'm not sold, yet, that we are one of the best teams in the second tier.

It sucks that Kier is clearly playing hurt and the Mar is a completely different player, but if you can watch this and NOT see that there are coaching problems, I'm just not sure what to say to you. I was a Paulsen guy but it's been three seasons in a row of slowly noticing that our players are not the problem, nor are our injuries or "luck."

santos Silva is extremely talented but today a lot of players today weren’t overly impressive. Evans, Jenkins, Simms, didn’t exactly do much and Vann for the most part was nonexistent. Douglas is awful. For a good part of the game they just let Silva do everything.
