3 mins for AJ? Wasn't able to watch until the last 10 minutes, but unless I am missing something, I would probably be transferring if I was him. It's criminal that he's not playing 30+ mins.

Goanar did a helluva job defending Pierce in the second half. W&M’s system is a bad matchup for AJ. He’ll have better days.

From Live Stats in the +/- category, Goanar led the team with +13. AJ was a -4. Pierce, who averages a double-double looked awesome in the first half, scoring 17 points. But only scored 2 in the second half and finished as a -5

Relax Joe. Ya dont know...but you come here mins after a win and start with the negativity. Aj sucked tonight. He should of benched himself. We dont needed you rooting against the coach. It.makes you sound like an idiot.
You sound like an idiot defending the coach.

Glad I had a chance to be at the game. Good crowd, honestly very competitve could of gone either way. W& M fan next to me said ,man ur number 4 (otis) is killing us. Actually one of his best games ever. When he decides to go the rim he breaks ankles, just amazing. He was all in last night. Kudos to Kier and Green both played hard. Reuter with one rebound is unacceptable. It appears that he doesnt box out very well. Hopefully the coaches will tweak his technique.
Lets take it to Vermont and JMU. Tough games but it appears this game could be a turning point.

Anyone think the smaller rotation kind of got us back to where we were last year?

For the first time this year we basically had an 8 man rotation.

The thought did cross my mind. Closer to a 9 man rotation though with Hartwell playing in both halves to give Otis a break. Also helped us press pretty much the whole game.

Might have given Mar and Greene some extra minutes which they put to good use. I believe those 2 had the highest +/- numbers for Mason. Not saying that Grayer wouldn't contribute though

Some basketball coach -- I forget who -- said early non-conference you can have a 10-man rotation, but it should be a 9 man rotation by conference time, and an 8 man rotation by the tournament.

Had Mar and Otis not come out completely and utterly flat in the first few games, I don't think the annoying rotations would have been an issue (win-loss wise).

Eh playing Reuter 28 mins with Aj getting 10 and Calixte getting 2 still would have been extremely stupid and annoying. But I get your point about Otis and Mar

This was a tongue and cheek response to Joe who chastised me for calling DP "dew boy". Try and keep up Mo Ron.

I think our best lineup was when both Hartwell and Otis were on the floor together.
Haven’t seen enough of Hartwell to be sold on him. Still think we’re better with him on the bench, but giving us minutes as needed.

With those two on the floor together, we’re just asking to get bullied, especially in our man to man scheme.
