People might think these players are learning on the fly. But KE may have the biggest learning curve of anyone on the bench, imo.

Maybe the kids Hate being in SD. I dunno, but the shots we did get off, most were contested. That "they have the first 7 seconds of the possession" (also something The Virus would say) thing needs adjusting down to 3 seconds bc everyone looks confused. Think I saw Ticket and Schwartz run into each other at one point. Oh well. Happy thanksgiving everyone...I'll be sleeping on a beach in the Caribbean rest of the week. Gotta admit I'm not as excited as I was after the UMD win, and this year could end up being very trying, but we've got to give Coach K some time. This team was literally thrown together from DP's leftovers and transfers, and Kim has only one preseason and 7 games under his belt.

At least we can all be glad we didn’t spend close to two grand to travel to SD, mess up our Thanksgiving day plans, call our child out of school, or anything non-specific like that.

It was 53-50 with 11:38 left in the game, and then the wheels came off. We went more than 3 minutes without a field goal due to really poor shot selection and committed several lazy turnovers and fouls.

The team looks physically and mentally drained right now, so hopefully they get a lot of sleep and can end this trip on a positive note. I know it won't be easy against a tough SD State team, but going into the break 5-3 sure sounds a lot better than 4-4.

Last night felt very Paulsenesque..if it wasn't for Gaines or Cooper I would think this was just Paulsen's 7th year at the helm. Letting another team's player absolutely go off. Our offense looking completely lost against a zone. Kim English will need some time and more of his recruits to right this ship.

I watched both Richmond and The Bonnies play the other night...it will be a blood bath. The Bonnies are a well oiled machine and we will have no answer for Gilyard and Burton.

One? They had the MWC Preseason POY kill us, the brother of a really good high major D1 player kill us and a high flyer who probably is on Sportscenter kill us. We didn't have the athletes to compete but it wasn't just one guy. They absolutely outclassed us.

Not to mention Santa Clara, San Francisco, and San Diego. AND that was all with one more good player that Nevada just kicked off the team. If the player in question is a big enough knucklehead, teams actually can add by subtracting. It will be interesting to see if Nevada continues to play better without Bramah (who almost ended up at Bona, by the way) than it did with him.

South Dakota St plays traditional basketball and has shooters and guys who play great defense, while also passing the ball extremely well. That can absolutely kill a team like Nevada. They also lost to Washington last night right? We played Washington really close (even while playing badly). Some times matchups kill. Maybe Bramah was a cancer and now they are playing with teammates they actually like, I have no clue, but their PG is supposed to be the best player in MWC and the guy who was dunking all over us is also supposed to be one of the best. They're 2 and 4. They're a really bad team so far with some bad losses. We had the athletes to beat #20 Maryland just a week ago. Losing to Nevada wasn't about them doing anything special.

You can't tell me that our roster isn't capable of beating Nevada.

we don't have a single Perimeter defender to go after Sherfield who is the best scorer in a conference similar to ours. It was a mismatch nightmare and when they switched Hartwell off of him they decided to start attacking with Blackshear and was 6-6 from the field right? XJ is not much better on ball either. IDK if UMD was fools gold or what but if a guard is able to drive at will to either score himself or dish off to a wide open 3 we will continue to lose
