Like I said all along, this team is a winner! National Championship caliber.

On a serious note, nice to see some defense being played, coaching adjustments in the form of a press, shots going down for Goanar, Reuter playing like advertised, Jamal's defense, Otis finding joy in assisting his teammates, Calixte keeping ball alive and finishing the easy play, etc, etc. It looks like some pressure came off the team tonight which was a pleasure to see. Still LOTS of work to do if we are going to make a splash in the A10. Hope we can build on this................

I do like that Kier hasn't started 0-23 from 3 this year and is actually hitting a few shots. Otis, however, still has an 0-fer by his name. If we're going to do anything with this season he's got to find his long game because I can imagine teams will sucker him into driving into traffic and try to turn him over otherwise.

Watching the first half on replay. This game would have been so much comfortable had Otis had hit those open shots he took. He took all good shots so far as I can see, just doesn't seem to have his shot calibrated right so far this year.

Calixte made the most of his minutes. Everyone played up to their potential tonight. Sure Otis didn’t score but he took care of the ball and got others involved.

Really impressed with the adjustments on defense by the coaches, and executed by the players, they definitely turned it up a notch and it changed the game. Also nice to see Reuter find his scoring touch, Mar get some shots to fall, and Hartwell show that he can play enough defense to get minutes when needed.

And I know Otis didn't score, but he also didn't turn the ball over the entire game. That's big.

The look on Mar's face after he made his first three was priceless. It looked therapeutic. He made another three and even had a nice drive to the basket which he did not convert on but his body language on the play indicated much more confidence.

Great point. It seemed the fans and the players were just as excited as he was.

And I gotta say, even since last year, AJ Wilson is nothing but positive energy on the bench. He is the most outwardly enthusiatic during timeouts. Clapping, motivating etc....

He is a gem ot this team in more ways than play alone. So glad to see his play catching up to team speed. He will be a huge factor in whatever we can salvage of the rest of this season.
