Moore at the buzzer to tie it. First time we are not losing at the half this season!

Moore is fast becoming one of my favorite Mason players ever. Kid is just a basketball player with a knack for getting in the lane and finishing.

Four threes in the first half and we scored 38 points! It's almost like the lane opens up when you're hitting from deep or something.

Defensively we're a train wreck and giving up a ton of offensive rebounds for putbacks again. The guys look like they're playing a lot more freely on offense though. Some nice passes and cuts to the basket that half.

Moore with 13 points and 8 rebounds in the first half..could have been more too if not for a couple missed layups.

Haven't seen anyone guard him yet this season that can keep him from getting to the hoop when he wants to.

Seems like Paulsen has cut way down on the subs and shortened the bench this game. Might be helping the team establish a flow at least on the offensive end.

If we've given up at Abram at the 4, can we start 2 forwards from now on? Kier should be a 2/3. We are giving up way to much size starting him at the 4.

If Paulsen is insistent on always playing man, then we need to stop cheating so much. Most of the 3s we give up are completely uncontested because the guy who should be covering the shooter is doubling someone else.

All it takes it good ball movement like we saw from Houston last night and several times today to catch us out of position. I get switching on screens, but the constant doubling of the ball never creates steals and more often than not leaves us at a disadvantage defensively.

We are shooting about 100% from the floor this half and are down four. Still have lots fo work to do on the defensive end. Getting murdered on the offensive glass.

Yup, you both nailed it. If we had something to show for all the doubling it would be one thing, but we're not generating turnovers and we're constantly leaving shooters open. What's the point?
