vcu finished the year tied for 1st place with a record of 25-6 and 15-3 in conference. They are currently 27-6.

The rams were 15-1 at home, 7-3 on the road, and are 4-2 at neutral sites.

In the A10 tourney they beat St. Bonaventure (76-59) in the quarterfinals and Loyola Chicago (62-55) in the semifinals.

We played vcu at Seigel Center in Richmond on Saturday, February 22, and lost 70-54. We were up one at the half (24-23) despite shooting just 28.6% from the floor and 27.3% from 3. Things fell apart after the half and vcu won going away by outscoring us 47-30 in the 2nd. We won the rebounding battle 27-26 but gave up 11 offensive rebounds. Our 14 turnovers led to 20 points by vcu. Giving them second chance and easy points led to our demise. Shulga (22), Clark (12), and Russell (11) led the rams.

easy cowboy — he has been a solid poster - it’s one thing to be sports rivals it’s another to lack social graces. We aren’t savages.

This will be one hell of a game that is worthy of the A10 championship game. It will be crowded and noisy.
