@mkaufman1 party like its 1999 tonight buddy!
No offense to you personally, but that might be worth the entertainment value alone. You could sell tickets to it, donate it Mason and kill two birds with one stone!I’ll self immolate outside the patriot center.
My favorite from Feinstein was after AJ had a beautiful two handed dunk after letting the D blow by him, he said: "That is a high percentage shot".Feinstein spouts so much BS. St. Joe's has won 6 games all year, and he says "that's the sign of a good coach" when they score a basket.
One thing I did appreciate from Feinstein, though, was he knew our team and players. There were several comments he made about players like AJ and Odurro that showed he had been paying attention throughout the year (or at least did his research). He even commented how Mar had been great as freshman and hadn't done much since. He knew Mason better than any announcer all season.Feinstein spouts so much BS. Agreed. Feinstein has always been one of my favorite sports writers, dating back to his days at the Post. He's always been a great reporter, writer, columnist and author. I just prefer to read his self-righteousness rather than listen to it.
Geez Tom..... you two should get a room!
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, AJ Wilson lacks the basketball skills to ever be anything more than a dunker. If he's going to play, he needs to stick to rebounding and shotblocking, and keep his butt away from the perimeter, and away from trying to be a scorer. It's just never going to be his game.
No crow tastes better than when a Mason player turns out to be way better than you ever thought they wouldNothing like eating that crow man, haha. He has become an awesome all around player.

For the season, he's up to a 32.6% from 3.
35% from 3 is sort of the Mendoza Line for 3 point shooting. He started the season 1-10, but since then has been shooting better than 39%.
That's DAMN effective for a big, and the viable threat of it forces defenses to close out aggressively and makes it easier for him to get to the rack.
If he can do that over a full season next year, I can't see how he's not in contention for all conference honors.
I know some folks here think Paulsen couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag, but him, plus Kier back, plus a year of development for everybody, I think we could be pretty damn good.
