Promises to be an ugly game. Fordham is the worst % 2 pt team in the conference and we're the worst at defending the 2.

It looks like extra possessions may be the secret to pulling out a win. Mason is 2d in off rebounding% (although Fordham is 5th defending against that).
Fordham is 14th in OR% and we are worst in offensive turnover %.

For whatever reason that us sports fans cannot explain, I still care. Beating Fordham means nothing, but losing to them is soooooooooo depressing. I'm going to watch, as always, and I really hope it doesn't end up annoying the shit out of me.

I watch the games most of the time, so I guess, that means I care at some level. But, I am way beyond caring about wins and losses. I am resigned to what Mason basketball is for the foreseeable future. If we win, that is icing on the cake, otherwise I get the morbid "watching a train wreck" type of curiosity satisfied. Either way, I get to come on here and discuss the state of Mason basketball and play Monday morning quarterback with the rest of you.

That being said, whoever is coaching and playing, go Mason! Let's shoot for beating Fordham two times in one week!

All he had to do was put that damn thing onto the glass. Why go for the big a** dunk there?

Also, this team is just horrid with their decisionmaking. Fordham is sticking three dudes in the paint every possession and yet half the time we're trying to dribble into three people to get into the paint (XJ, Javon, Miller, AJ). That last one, JDS just hit a 3 and was sitting wide open and Miller is like, naw, I'm going to dribble into three dudes instead and put it up.
