After 30 games it's pretty obvious that when we win it's going to be ugly. Kudos to Stas "The Big Swede" for his play tonight. Many here have called for him to get more minutes, he earned them tonight. He's a team player, communicates well, and is fundamentally sound. I love Gio but he has no hands or feel for the game. It's also pretty obvious to me that without Jared in the starting lineup we just come out flat defensively. He needs to start and play as many minutes as humanly possible. He is the heart and soul of this team. I'm tired of us being down 12-2 after 5 minutes. Ugly win, but hey, 23-7 / 14-3. Anderson gives us a big nothing as a starter. KD found his role tonight, sitting on the bench.
"The Big Swede" is an unusual nickname for someone from Slovenia!

GIVING DAY 2023
Tony said it was minor and that he should be ok for Saturday.
No reason to doubt Skinn. He’s honest at the podium all season.

But I wonder if that answer is any gamesmenship. Have teams waste time game planning for him.

Possibly. I suspect at worse they’ll have KD warm up just so they think he’s playing.

Saturday also doesn’t mean much other than pride for Richmond on their senior day and for us to get our 15th league win. Ok I guess it matters, 15 league wins would be pretty f**king awesome. Haha

KD - Got hurt at warmups before the game. He was limping a bit into the tunnel at halftime. Heard Knee originally... but could be a hamstring. An Auburn woman sitting in our section had her 10 year old son with her and he had KD's Orange Auburn jersey on - Talked with her after the game (they know KD well and were waiting for him after the game). They flew in from Nashville last night to see this game and then are flying back tomorrow which is really cool. KD texted her pregame and said he tweaked something in his leg during warm-ups and that he wouldn't be playing. She agreed it sucked but she had nice things to say about our program and gameday experience.

I would still rest him Saturday, legs take time to get right.... not worth trying to play him if he's not 100%.

Haynes - He first came out cramping.... trainer made him chug two of those pickle juices that look like five hour energy's and some blue electrolyte stuff and then he went back in the game. Then when he got hurt again, it looked more serious with his leg - looked like it locked up completely and couldn't really bend it or stand on it. They put him in a wheel chair in the final minute and wheeled him out. Hope it's just cramps and nothing serious.
