Game 30: Duquesne University, Wednesday, March 1st, 7 PM, NO TV

I have a sneaking suspicion this team has one more good run left in it and I think it starts against Duquesne.

Also don't be shocked if we beat vcu. I know we never seem to play well there, but we have been right in there against all of the other top teams -- the first vcu game, Dayton, URI and Bona were all closer than the final score shows, and we swept Richmond's a**.

A handful of plays in each game has been the difference between winning and losing, but our guys have proven they belong on the court with the best the A-10 has to offer. That is certainly a change from years past.

From what Dave said they're still practicing well, which says to me they haven't checked out mentally.

It would be nice to build some positive momentum heading to Pittsburgh and at least win a game or two.

If this team can take care of the basketball and control Tillman when he's in the game (the Allie-Cox/Tillman combo really killed us in the first game), vcu is vulnerable. I don't necessarily like our chances, but I don't think vcu is nearly as good of a team as Dayton is.

Yep - I'm worried about getting by Duquesne - not time to think about vcu yet. They were tied with the Bonnies in Olean late and only lost by three. I did see that St. Bonaventure missed 14 FT's though. GMU should come out with a lot of energy on senior night.

Rooting for Fordham and St. Louis tonight too. GMU needs a little help to secure a 7 spot.
