I would consider 1 or 2 of those shots to be contested. Most of those shots didn’t have anyone on the right side of the court to guard them. Howard is bad, we are still not a good shooting team.

Howard was definitely slow to close out and Mason had a lot of space to shoot. It won't be that easy against other opponents, especially in the A10.

That said, it was nice to see the ball go in. They could still have missed all of them wide open or not.

They were in a zone def the entire game so open 3s like that is to be expected. I'm still not sure if we are a decent 3pt shooting team though.

We basically played Howard's JV team due to their health issues. We'll see how many we get against Maryland. I'll bet the farm it won't be 17.

If I had to bet Mason will probably end up 5 of 25 from deep. Something absurd.

Last year, they were 7-23. But AJ Wilson had a pretty monster game with 19 points, 6 rebounds. It’s really going to be about ball movement and players finding each other because if the ball gets stagnant and they try to go one-on-one with anyone it is not going to end well.

Haven't seen the box score yet. Did he really have 9 dimes? I hardly noticed that while watching him throw up brick after brick. If he averages 9 dimes a game, doesn't shoot, and can defend players bigger that he is, and that's everyone, then I may have to change my tune.

Maybe this is harsh, but in my opinion Hartwell is a fine bench player. That’s about it
