I would give your post a solid thumbs up, but what say we leave the good Lord out of this?
Religion and Politics.
Thanks.

I'll probably regret engaging in this, but...

There is a specific rule that prohibits politics. I can find no rule that prohibits religion, if I stipulate that using the term in that manner is religion.

I beg of you to just ignore when someone uses some common phraseology that you have a little issue with. It really detracts from the flow of the threads.
It's not a little issue. But in the interest of the site, I'll move on.

Jesus christ a lot of you are acting like this team is nowhere the top 100 Net/20 win team they are likely going to end up being, WITH THE BIGGEST REGULAR SEASON WIN IN SCHOOL HISTORY, under a first year coach with 1 returning starter (who has largely been outplayed by a kid who should still be in HS) that was cobbled together in 3 months.

Acting like the future isn’t bright as hell, possibly as early as when Haynes steps on the court next fall.
Every year the roster will be cobbled together in 3 months with the new rules. The reason we beat Dayton and lost to Fordham is exactly why some of us are looking at Jesus Christ to explain the madness.

Reminder to everyone before this goes further or folks want to make more jokes (sorry have to be the buzzkill here) -

1) If you see something that violates a rule - report it and let a moderator handle it
2) If you see a topic that could violate a rule or you find to be close to a rule or need to be deleted- report it and let a moderator handle it.
3) We have a direct message feature - use it at times necessary between folks - not everyone needs to see all personal chit chat
4) If you aren't sure, don't like something, send myself or @HoopsAdmin a direct message and let us handle it.
5) If you don't like what someone says, we have an ignore feature.

Now lets all talk about Duquense and Mason.

This might be true: but Fordham, Dayton and St. Joes largely kept their roster intact even with players who have never transferred and could have gone on a free anyway. The fact that Reynolds, Fleming, and Brown (and he’s on his fifth season) all stuck with Lange is mind boggling to me, but there you have it.

We will see. I’m hoping we will keep our core 7 (Polite, Okojie. Hall, Maddox, Newton, Billups. Haynes) even if they will probably be able to all leave and not have to sit.

I don’t think anyone said that. I think what was said is can’t win on the road. With a senior point guard or a go to player as a leader they are looking at 12-3 and 23-5 and maybe an outside shot. Outside GWU and the 2 Loyola games, every other game was very winnable. It’s been hammered to death the lack of PG play had killed them over the last 10 years. It's not a secret. Tony has made that a priority recruiting who he has, they will only get better and compete as he continues to bring in more athletic pg’s.

If Hall sticks around with okie Haynes, Maddox, Ball and a few others add another forward they got a team. Okie, Hall, Haynes, Maddox with another score or another forward depending on matchup with ball and couple others off the bench will be a very nice team next year.

Nah I meant Okie! I’ll keep calling him that for the next 4 years too. Maybe it gets shortened to just ‘Ok’ by time he’s a senior but tbd… ‘Haynes’ and ‘Ball’ sure and if that’s what you want to harp on cool. Either way those 4 plus another shooter or another big will be a nice team with 3 role players off the bench.

Big one today- Mason needs a w and some help to avoid falling into PIG round. the 8/9 round isnt' great either.

Last year, Duquense destroyed us in Pittsburgh. Obviously a totally different team etc, but we really need a win today.
