Cosmic Slop is a goto commute album for me.
The attendance number is paid, not butts in seats.attendance - 4703
don't know if that is paid or butts in seats
part of the lower bowl was empty
i assume some season ticket holders didnt try to sell their seats and left them empty

I heard Giannini say something to the effect that DP tells his players “you live your life 22 hours a day and give me 2 hours a day”.
Is that true?
If so, is two hours really enough?
I can definitely appreciate that perspective, and I admire the gusto! My other team is the NY JETS, so as a fan my overall expectation for teams i root for is in the dumpster right now.I was in school in 12 and 13, and have missed maybe 5 games since, I’ve paid attention. You don’t take a step toward relevancy by losing.

The implication was not just the official "countable" time, I would think coaches would expect a lot more. And to Jollay's point, what do we need that practice facility for if they aren't using it all hours of the day and night?https://www.stack.com/a/how-does-a-...-between-division-i-and-division-iii-programs:
"The Rule Book
Division I Basketball
- Summer
- Enrolled in summer school
- 8 weeks of summer training on campus
- 8 hours of mandatory training with coaches per week
- 2 hours of on court skill instruction per week
- 6 hours of strength and conditioning per week
- "Voluntary" basketball-related activities or strength and conditioning throughout the week
- Foreign tour with coaches (only allowed once every 4 years) that would include multiple practices and games against professional/semi-professional teams.
- Offseason during academic year
- 8 hours of mandatory training with coaches per week
- 2 hours of on-court skill instruction per week
- 6 hours of strength and conditioning per week
- "Voluntary" basketball-related activities or strength and conditioning throughout the week
"The survey shows overall that the 20-hour rule itself can be rife with loopholes, and this can be true regardless of sport. But this can be true of both Division I and Division III because it's as easy as deeming something "voluntary" although it is understood to be mandatory."
- In-season
- 20 hours of "countable athletically related activities" per week (>4 hours per day)
- Practices
- Required meetings with a coach
- Required strength and conditioning
- Review and discussion of game film
- Athletic competition
- 1 required day off from all countable athletically related activities
- Any voluntary basketball-related activities or strength and conditioning"
This is correct. The attendance number is all tickets that are spoken for, whether that be season, partial, single, or comp. One team I used to work for used to go around passing out free GA vouchers to games, and counted them in the final attendance. The actual butts in seats number is never released. My understanding is that the attendance should include all tickets sold (i.e., all season tickets, partial season tickets that include the game, and the single game tickets) plus all comp tickets used. But, a certain poster has advised me not to trust the attendance reported by Mason.

Good stuff. However, can we please get some music that doesn't have a curse word and/or the N word that's every other word in the next one? Thanks!

It's sad that many people these days cannot discuss controversial issues with any kind of intellect. Oh well, back to Mason basketball.Old idiots please delete last two posts^
You spelled out the N word on a college basketball recruiting page. You are exactly what I said you are. Obviously others agreed with me since your post is goneIt's sad that many people these days cannot discuss controversial issues with any kind of intellect. Oh well, back to Mason basketball.
Just about every rap and Hip-Hop song has "that word" in it. Not music from my generation, SON. Shall I post a YouTube link to one of "those" songs? I can get away with that, but not putting "that word" in print?? My intent was to draw attention to context and history.
