Rhode Island comes into Fairfax with a 16-8 record (8-4 in the Atlantic 10) pending their game against Fordham which is February 15th and can be watched on Facebook live.

E.C. Matthews is averaging 15.2 PPG, Hassan Martin is averaging 14.2 PPG/6.4 RPG, Jared Terrell is averaging 13.1 PPG, and Kuran Iverson is averaging 7.5 RPG.

Seeing that Iverson is 6'9, 215, I'm thinking he is the key to the game, assuming Jenkins/Temara is occupied with 6'7 Martin. Reminds me of the mis-match with vcu and Tillman. Outside of Iverson, we match up well with them at least physically amongst our starters.

Iverson is inconsistent. If he shows up and plays well around the basket, we're going to have a hard time because we have nobody to guard him. If not, I think we have a great chance.

Most meaningful late-season game we've had since 2011. Hopefully it's a great crowd.

Once again, big game. The 3 seed for the A-10 tourney is within reach... as well as the 4 seed. I believe we can beat URI at home... it will likely be a close game, but if Mason can continue to play like they have been playing, especially like last night, then I think we have a good chance to get the win.

We only play URI once, so this game has the chance to be a tiebreaker for tournament seeding. We have the tiebreaker over UR, which is nice in itself.

Yes, we are running the gauntlet to finish the season, but we can do this... one game at a time people, one game at a time...

Iverson is a matchup nightmare but like with jalen referees love to call him for Ticky tack fouls. If we can get some fouls on him early it will be an extremely tight game. If we can't and he plays 30-33 mins we might be in trouble

Gonna be a good one for sure. Students have no excuse not to be there, Its a 4pm tip. then they can go out to their Saturday night parties or whatever the kids are doing these days. I dont know maybe they just all sit around and play video games or text their friends on the other side of the room. Either way come watch basketball then go do that later.
