These losses are like getting rejected by women - not that I have experienced much of that. The losses don't even hurt any more. I'm over them in about 5 minutes. I was pissed off for at least the next day at the beginning of the year. Not so much now. Hewitt's made me stoic - almost apathetic.
At the end of regulation, we simply had to do whatever was necessary to stop Jett from getting to the basket.
With Evans on the bench, everyone knew their plan was to get Jett the ball on the run and send him right to the rim -- and still, we parted the Red Sea and just let him do it.
You shouldn't need a timeout at that point to know the right thing to do. A well-coached, well-prepared team just knows that somebody other than Jett has to be the one to beat you.
Who knew TOC was on the boards?...No they don't. Because teams with bad coaches find ways to lose. Besides we won't have Allen and Wright to keep us in these games. We'll have less close ones next year. These 2 and 3 point losses will be 9 and 10 point losses next year.
They're there to protect us from ourselves...I thinkAnyone else at the game notice that there were a lot more police officers than normal?
They tend to stand out when there aren't many fans at the game.Anyone else at the game notice that there were a lot more police officers than normal?
