That's why I'm not harping on it any harder than I am now. When the game counted, in the second half, G Mas, as they have all year, couldn't keep up. It's reality.

It was neck-and-neck through 3/4 of the game, at it was still a game under 5 min, they just gave up when it was clear that it was out of reach. So the final score didn't reflect the game, but it still should have been easier for Mason. In other words, yeah, things like that make a difference.
Plus we could have at least closed towards the end if we gave up less offensive boards.
I don't really know what you're trying to say, but this game wasn't really that close.
Wright and Allen played their asses off to keep us within shouting distance.
But when you can't stop your opponent from scoring nearly at will, your chances of winning are basically zero.
The 3 pointer and steal at 3 and a half minutes is what broke the game open, and after that the score was ugly. But up until then, the score difference was hovering in the 6-8 pt range, and would have been closer if we could have kept them off of the offensive boards a few times. And it was tied not too long before that. I'm just saying that with all the flaws in the teams game today, it was still close enough that consistently better officiating and a few key plays could have made a difference.I don't really know what you're trying to say, but this game wasn't really that close.

We can't control how they play, but we can control how we play, and have the right to complain about how the officials call the game. So you're not just saying the same thing.OK. I guess I'll just throw in then that IF St. Bona made some more 3's in the first half they would have won by 20.

Well, I think you're wrong. But that's just me.
When you play as terribly on D as we did today, you forfeit the right to put the blame anywhere else.
That was a piss-poor effort. Anyone with a halfway decent first step can leave any of our guards in the dust.
One of these days, Hewitt's gonna take his head outta his a** and realize we're exclusively a 2-3 zone team.

In the parts of the game I was paying attention to, the defense was passable, until they gave up the offensive board and gave the other team another chance. So I'm saying that they can fix some of their defensive problems by making sure they clean up the offensive glass, and you're saying, no, that won't work, because they just suck too bad to bother. How does that solve anything?lol. You can play defense. G Mas sucks at it. Period. You don't win. You don't pass go. You don't collect $200.00.
If the officiating isn't good, then not all of the bad D is on your conscience.Well, I think you're wrong. But that's just me.

Yeah, that's going to be after he's fired and at home reading in his study one night and the light bulb will come on...I should have played more zone!

Wow

Please stop using the refs as an excuse. They weren't that bad.
Stop trying. He seems nice but lives in fantasy land.
