This line from a Rhode Island fan is hilarious: “I don’t post anymore because my tears make my phone too slippery to handle.”
JB is my favorite player on this team.Really fun atmosphere when u have almost 75% of EBA filled. One of the best offensive games of the year. Maddox on fire, Begg on fire and Haynes just bullying his way to the rim. But I was most impressed with 2H defense holding them to 26 points, Tony must of told them at half to step it up. Their leading scorer all year Thomas had 10 first half points, Tony put Billiups on him a few minutes into the 2H and Jared held him scoreless. JB is the unsung hero of this team, plays outstanding D , had 6 rebs, a few assists and was all over the floor with his help defense and didn't score a point. These are the type of guys you win championships with... What a selfless player. Great win.
Yeah, baby! We whipped the ball around with conviction today. As always had a blast at Homecoming and seeing many of you in Gold room and around during the day.
As far as the game; other then about 10 minutes in half 1 defensively, we were really solid on both sides of the ball. We let them get into the paint late in half 1 but we adjusted in half 2.
It was great to see us move the ball, swish 3 pointers and generally control the game. I expected this type of game against Rhode Island and it was sorely needed.
It’s obvious Maddox read our comments about him, and took it personally. lol. Such a great game from him, Kd running point and just our effort on both sides of the ball. Only 8 turnovers and really keeping Sebastian Thomas quiet for the most part.
It’s starting to get interesting for sure. I know we all have big dreams and it’s hard but one game at a time. Onto SLU.
Go mason!
Completely agree. Everything was on point yesterday and it definitely starts to feel like we have something very special. It’s going to be a fun ride the next 6 weeks!Yeah, baby! We whipped the ball around with conviction today.
Begg's 1st half spark was something to behold. Each three he hit was from further out, including a logo three! Begg's 11-17 from deep since December and his play at PG has been steadily getting better. Love the improvement but obviously we're not the only ones notcing his stellar play. Going to have to open the bag to keep him because the majors will surely be stepping up with their big, fat checkbooks.
That move by Haynes at the ~7:00 mark in the 2nd half was crazy. Dude crossed over his defender and finished with his off hand. Guards do that all the time; not bigs!
I know its one game at a time but this team is starting to feel special.
do tell. What recruits were at the game?Yesterday was an atmosphere a first place team deserves.
Also I hear a rumor that last night will be good for recruiting. Can anyone here confirm?
