For anyone who is curious, there still is a path to a double bye that’s wide open for Mason, but we have to win today. Massive game.
It’ll be a tough game, nice to have a competitive Mason back (I grew up here during the F4 run and cheered for you guys pretty hard).Gotta get this W. Cannot turn the ball over more than 10 times in order to win, gotta protect the rock.

ah yes, one of our two matchups against our longtime rival.
Oh oops, their fans don’t consider us our rival. We just have that cute nickname Goomoo and they talk about how they are so much better than us etc. Blah blah blah.
Anyway, should be a fun game. It’s homecoming, it’s vcu. Our guys will be jacked up as will hopefully at least 6000 fans.
The good news is that if we break their press we like to run and get layups and open 3s. Let’s hope we get lots of easy buckets and they struggle to score on offense.
It’s never easy against them but its always simple. Limit turnovers and easy layups for them, make them score in the half court. Oduro can expect to be doubled down low so I hope he can swing the ball to get some open 3s. Hopefully Gaines can also come out of his mini slump.
Hey Man.....I feel a little bad about calling you a buttmunch. Apologies, I should only really be using that language with Jollay.....As an old school CAAZone poster, I guess I'm still a little salty about the Samnang takeover on the vcu boards back in the old days.
Hoping for a fun and injury free game, also...feel free to keep @duncanlamb full time. We'll take him on alternating weekends. We'll pick him up at the Chick-fil-A near Fourmile Fork as that is the halfway point between RVa and Fairfax. Make sure he has clean underwear and his prescription foot powder.
Also, @CHRISTOPHER JAMES JOLLAY , stop being such a buttmunch.
Zero chance in this one if we continue to play defense like we did in the first half. Making vcu look like an offensive juggernaut in the half court.
