we yhe fans deserve better then this. For ardent Mason supporter this is just tough to stomach. I know a lot of folks just don't care or they accept it as "just another basketball game", but for hard core basketball fans who really care about their team this is totally unacceptable. Hewitt explaining that this is a transition year is BS.

Please clean the slate and let's get a new coach and staff. I could stomach another losing year as long as we make some progress. Just a dam shame.

Some people were talking progress and how well we played and were coached in the St. Louis game. That's something that doesn't become a trend under Hewitt. Play the 19th best team in the country really well on the road, and then get blown out of your own gym a few days later? That is inexcusable.

His teams did this at Ga Tech. Would lose to a bottom feeder, then upset Duke. Not on even keel. So since its happening again to us, combined with the fact his Ga Tech teams couldn't inbounds the ball either, I'd say its time for an in season termination.

I don't know about fans "deserving" better, as I'm sure the players, AD, and coaches want to win as much as we do. But I do wish Hewitt had the balls to not make any excuses. No transition year, no blaming players, or any other BS. How about, "I'm honestly not sure what's going on but I promise you we are busting our asses to figure it out."

I was here for Nestor and Westhead and I am not sure I saw a drop off like this from 1 game to another. I am sure it happened, but to go from playing a top 20 team well to getting BLOWN out on our home floor by a team tied for 2nd to last place in the conference is just a miserable thing to watch.

Worst piece of shit performance I've ever seen. Completely on the coaches too. Three or four passes, the backside is wide open for a three or layup. Kids had no idea how to handle it and that's on the coaches. Clean house, give the kids something to play for this season (a new coach), start preparing for next season.

Dayton shot 57% the field (when they showed stats late in the 2nd half at the Dome). Why would you not at least try the zone? They were scoring at will in the paint the last 10 minutes. Unbelievable...
