I'd be embarrassed to show that video online...I mean, I understand swallowing your whistle at the end of the game, but that was a clear travel.
The anguish by the players will only help them grow.

Yup. That was 100% a travel. He has two feet on the ground when the ball left his hands after taking two full steps. I was screaming at the TV!

Not only did Crawford travel, Grayer got a hand on the shot and the ball somehow still went in. Sh!t happens.

I agree by having read the comments on here but not seen the game that that guy travelled.

I agree that Paulsen has kind of sucked of late. At the very least he has certainly gotten fatter.

Eh, I really don't care. Just glad STL +7.5 came through. LOL at that line.

There go 2 of my predicted 7 conference wins. A healthy Marquise most likely would have made the difference but that's life.

Gotta win sat and at davidson. Maybe DP figures out how to beat GW or vcu so we finish top 7?

Refs had a bad night last night.

Nobody can be down on this team. I've never seen a Mason player carry their team like Otis did last night. We are gonna be fine. Just need some size down low with IQ.

Of the few games I am able to catch on TV, the officiating makes the game almost unwatchable. Watching a nationally televised game on ESPN is a totally different story, and it seems like for those games they tell the refs to go easy to make it more enjoyable for a national audience..or maybe the players are just better and don't foul? don't know.

Well that blows any chance for a 20 win season. Not that they have been playing at the level to reach that mark lately. Seems as though the team is starting to tire out as we enter the last month of regular season play.

It's a ll good, Jim. Nobody here doesn't appreciate what Dave has done or what he will do in the future. Depleted lineup or not, it's still a punch to the gut to get swept by such a crappy team. You are right that we have zero margin for error, so hopefully we will have everybody healthy Saturday and find a way to bounce back even though we will have home-court disadvantage.

PS: One bright spot: We had two guards out and got not buckets from our bench, yet not one person has asked why Abram didn't play. That's progress.
Murrell did play 13 minutes more than he should of with an impressive 0-4 1 rebound 1 foul stat line.

Otis is good man. But with more hurt it seems like Grayer was the only one to really step up. One question for those who watched live: When did Moore actually start sitting for the rest of the game?

That was a tough one all around. No Moore and no Newman obviously hurt. I thought the kids played hard, but as thin as we are, you can't take two of your top 7 guys out of the rotation and expect good things on the road. I was wondering why Moore was out, didn't realize he was sick.

It also sucked because someone at Mason is pissed at me. I've been going to the Mason vs SLU games since joining the A10 and my seats have always been behind the bench (with a pretty good record against them):

The old upper deck obstructed view seats!!!! I think we all now know the real reason we lost last night.

Wouldn't be a George Mason basketball game (win or lose) without constant b****ing about the officiating. Having said that, clearly a travel at the end of the game.

It's a miracle we have 14 wins with this roster. Our guys fight like hell, but we literally have zero margin for error.

Paulsen is getting all the miles he can out of this team. We have some great players, but we're missing just a few items to be that next level in the A-10.

It is still better than Hewitt ball.....

Jim hit the nail on the head - no margin for error. Even with a career night from Otis, Jaire having a good game and Jalen having a solid game, it was not enough to make up for Marquis being sick and missing 25% of the game, and Newman being out. Yet we still had 2 different opportunities to hit free throws that would have ended the game (Ian Missed 2nd of 2 FT's with 19 seconds left in regulation, Otis missed FT after the 3ptr with 48 seconds left in 1st OT) and were apparently a travel call away from 3rd OT.

With our top 8 guys healthy and out of foul trouble, we can play like a top 25 team. Take one or more of those pieces away = last night.

Shameful slap in the face ^ to our #1 fan in the midwest--nay, anywhere, and the #1 fan in our hearts. I call for Cabrera and his merry band of Twittering idiots to make this right immediately.

I plan on showing my disgust with the ole' pocketbook. I think a 25% reduction in my patriot club donation should do the trick. Quick, somebody tell me what 25% of zero is.
