So I guess the shrink didn't work. The arena was amazing tonight! These guys just need to relax and play.

Nice win, it was good to see Mason buckle down in the second half on d, and get some space point wise. It stunk to see them go cold in the final 5 minutes but they held them off. It doesn’t have to be pretty but they got the win and that’s fine.

Not sure what was up with the free throw shooting but I’m going to take that as an anomaly. I’m going to guess they’ll be shooting a lot tomorrow. Make another 5 or 10 and it’s a different outcome. They shoot very well normally from there which is nice.

Really impressed with how Reuter has progressed with his offense and continues to grow on defense. It definitely opens offense up.

Also happy to see a full and loud arena tonight. I have a feeling the bandwagon is starting and winning against a local rival is a very good thing. The team is going to have to play some very good ball against vcu but I feel confident they’ll be ready to go.

Announced attendance was 6683, which is pretty good but would love to see that over 7,000 for GW (even a bad GW team — I think we will eventually).

It’s always more pleasant to learn a lesson after a win than a loss, but we kept GW in this game way too long. Can’t leave that many points at the line and expect to beat vcu or Davidson or SLU or even St. Bonaventure.

This may be a dumb q but with the tarps is the capacity that much more than 6600?

Free throws have been a major strength for us, pretty bizarre result tonight. I think we will get back in track there

I think it’s 7,850 with the tarps.

I have a feeling if we keep winning, we might have to open up those sections when vcu comes to play.

It might be sooner than that honestly. It seems like the bandwagon has started.:D

I know it was an ugly win but it's par for the course at home regardless of opponent.

29.4 % from 3, 42.6% from the FT line is about mason has been doing all year at home.

The good news mason plays alot better on the road.
