Honestly the Davidson game was kinda nice in this way. I got really into the game because we had the lead, but the end result still netted the loss required to pad the case against Hewitt. Losses can be wins if you look at it the right way

I kind of agree with this. Low expectations. I hope that the game is competitive so I'm at least into the game. That Duquesne game - even though it was closer than the Bonnie game, was not worth watching. Wish I turned away. It is impossible to root for Mason and Hewitt at the same time.

I hated it too but I have to admire the cleverness of PoorManProfit's comment.

Vegasinsider has vcu favored by 10; same as rpiforecast and kenpom. Both of the latter can't factor in the loss of Weber yet.

Maybe vegas figures vcu will rebound from a bad shooting game against Richmond (as good teams tend to) whereas Mason's offensive struggles, which seem rather chronic, will continue.
