Hey we were down by 2 with 2 plus minutes to go. So while we have to figure out why the bigs were not contributing, points as well as no rebounds. I think we were competitive and had good moments. Darius was terrific and Oconner showed good ball Also our intensity was strong. Our defense looked good. Give credit to their guard for hitting big threes. Nevertheless, I think the game bodes well for the future. TS needs to make the corrections.
I'm optimistic.

Here is the video of the scuffle (whatever you wanna call it) at the end of the game:

Don’t mind the foul. Didn’t seem like reckless play, more you aren’t going to score that easily even right now kind of attitude. The aftermath sucks.

Darius Maddox 100% should have been able to jump that pass though. He read that waaayyy too late.

I hope so.

And that's why I don't do social media.
Except you guy and the Nats.
We've definitely had player parents tweet odd things over the years and even show up here to pick fights (although less of an example there), but I assure you in this context and all others, not one time has a parent called for a brawl in a literal sense. This example is no different.

I am very glad to hear that. Thanks!

I have 0 problem with Woody giving that foul (not endorsing trying to fight afterwards). The first angle shown on the broadcast made it look worse than it was. A second angle showed he went for the block and the ball. The refs reviewed it and didn’t give a flagrant, right?

If you’re going to leave your starters in to run up the score with a minute left in the game and one of them goes for a exclamation-point jam on a fast break instead of running out the clock, that’s just kinda what you get.

Damn right, too many Mason players over the past 15 years would’ve let Gold dunk it and just shrugged.

As @mkaufman1 likes to say, we’ve had way too many choir boys. I want Mason to play with a chip on its shoulder again — once upon a time, opponents saw us on their schedule and knew they were in for a long day.

No more Mr. Nice Guy.

I honestly have no idea because the announcers were too busy talking about something else. But it appeared that there was a flagrant called since they got free throws and I believe the ball.

At least in Haynes' case, the bigger they are, the more often they fall.

I'm not spreading rumors or making them up, but...

I think Haynes' top-heaviness, his disproportionately narrow legs, and what appears to be lower back soreness (during game #1 he wore a back brace of sorts while on the bench) is causing his slowness (relative to his earlier college career) and his tendency to topple. Hope I'm incorrect.
