that was just..wow. Mason did everything they could, overcome turnovers, overcome poor point guard play, adjust on defense, get their bigs out and it still wasn't enough.

Hats off for a great game, but man this one is going to hurt. But Mason played their tail off tonight, no doubt about it. Too many turnovers, missed free throws and they were within a few seconds of having a third overtime.

By the rule unfortunately it wasn’t basket interference. Ball “may” have been in the cylinder but a player is allowed to brace his fall by grabbing net. I don’t think it effected the layup unfortunately. Piss poor defense to let Collins take that shot to begin with

All our starters played over 40 minutes. Oduro is hobbling around. XJ who did not play well at all had to play a ton of minutes because Polite is hurt so he couldn't even get a piss break. Too many turnovers, free throw misses etc.

Yet even with that, these guys left it all out there tonight. Hard loss to swallow but if they play like this every night and in big games, fine by me.

Top 3 mason games I’ve ever seen live. Bench points and free throws are the difference. The A10 is so f**ked when CKE has a full off-season to build a small bench. Yuri is the real deal and anyone who says otherwise didn’t watch the game or is being facetious.

Bench took 4 total shots. Two of those were shots Henry shouldn’t have taken and one circus shot by Otis that was lucky to go in. Felt a little bad for Otis in the first half. They were trying to play him at the 5 against Okoro and that wasn’t a fair matchup.

It's a bit unfair to pound on XJ for his play tonight. Collins is one of the best PGs in the country. XJ is just not good enough to compete against him.

St. Lous knew coming into the game that they had a huge advantage with Collins against XJ. Give them credit, they exploited the mismatch.
