Whatever you lose offensively with Singleton pales in comparison to what you lose defensively with him not out there....

His offense isn't bad if you take out his free throw shooting.

Mason has good effort, makes games interesting, but seriously deficient in talent, especially the guard position. No where near enough good players to compete with the top five teams. But I still watch and hope for better.

Welp, in the A- 10 survival pool I am participating in, I count 22 entrants who had GMU beatng GW. None had GW beating GMU.

I think KE will ultimately be successful, but GW looked like the team ready to play today.

The coaching in that regard is indefensible. Even if he missed a few bunnies in the first half, he still finished with 17 points and 9 rebounds and should touch the ball on every possession.

Josh has been turning the ball over too much and missing shots he shouldn’t, but he’s still without question the top option on this team. Why we are constantly launching 3s instead of playing through him is something I fail to understand.

GW has superior guard play. They are the type of team who can split their season in half and have the chance to go on a run in a conference tournament. Guards win games at the end and win tournaments. Mason doesn’t have that type of guard play unfortunately.

He had 51 turnovers going into tonight. 16 more than any other player on the roster. No center should ever lead the team in that category. Last year he had 74 which also led the team. On pace to break that this year. He clearly has NOT improved in that area.

Very very bad loss. GW was ranked 185 by Kenpom prior to the game.

You just can't lose a game like that at home if you want to finish top four in the A-10.

I don’t disagree with anything you said. The turnovers are infuriating. It still doesn’t change the fact that he’s our best player. He needs to play better, and the staff needs to coach him better.

Still blown by this one. Individuals having good performances but overall just not playing like a team who has an average of 3 full seasons of college basketball under them.

I don't know what's going on with Bailey, but that dude needs to get more touches and take more shots. He is our best shooter, particularly from 3-point range. If that were to happen, maybe Josh wouldn't get as smothered in the paint.
