We looked like a good team today, executing plays and getting good looks at the basket and positioning ourselves to do well. Also Otis is freaking quick and really developing his play making ability. What has looked like “over dribbling” looking like Play making and dishing for easy layups today. There is a fine line between the two and he was on the right side of it today. And I loved him and Grayer getting a couple plays together. I want those guys to kill it the last 1.5 seasons they have with us

Honestly I’m just happy because we did not look like dumpster fire and actually looked really good.

HUGE shout out to my boys in 115. Best line of the night was directed to a benchwarmer on St. Louis who had cut the sleeves off his warm up. Something to the effect of, "Hey dude, did you cut off the sleeves to show the TSA you don't have any guns." Classic. Keep it up.
Guy was two over from me. Best line was “you and I are both sitting on our asses because neither of us can play basketball”

Livingston, like most games recently, was the best player on the floor. What a stretch he is having. This guy is making a play to be the best point guard G Mas has ever had. If he isn’t already. If he stays healthy, he has an outside shot at 2,000 pts. That is crazy considering he’ll be at the top for assists shortly.

Watching the game again this morning, well, the 2nd half anyway (thanks LaSalle/Duquesne).

Otis, Grayer, and Calixte all brought their A game on the offensive end. When we get three guys playing their best, we will win more than we lose.

I spent a lot of time watching Calixte. 1) it’s nice to see someone set some decent screen again, that drove me crazy under Hewitt. 2) the other guys gave him the ball in some great spots, a bonus in his increase in production it seems is now our guards have more confidence in him and are getting him the ball in good spots.

Our defense these past few games hasn’t been great. We give up a lot of easy points and a lot of transition points. I was impressed with Kier’s defense in the box and 1. He could become very valuable for us if he can be the guy we can count on to lock up other teams best guard.

Yes, he has a job with the A10. Can't remember what his role is, though.

I like Terry Gannon as an announcer, but he kept mentioning a specific SLU player (dont remember which) and "was a big part of what they did last year". He must have said this 3 or 4 times. He never stated what SLU actually did last year so I looked it up: 12-21 and 6-12 in the A10. Either he knew their results and didnt want to say it or didnt know how bad they were last year. Just seemed like a weird phrase to use for a team that went 12-21.

That game could not have taken any longer if they tried. Every possession after regulation had a foul called. I was at the gym and almost got through my entire workout.

Straight up, that game was loads of fun to watch. DP executed a perfect defensive game plan. Where we’re usually begging for some type of full court look, packing the paint made so much sense yesterday. Roby was hot all game so Dave threw a box & 1 at them demanding that the box stay planted in the paint. He also ran some matchup zone.

Otis has taken the wheel of this ride and we couldn’t be any happier. In this postgame video we ask him about making Sportscenter top 10 and about the emergence of Calixte aka Big Haiti (nickname given to him in high school, we have an interview with him dropping next week). We also ask DP about Calixte, watch below!

As much as I want to get excited about this game, it's crazy we let Saint Louis shoot like that and reach 80+ points. Our defense isn't getting any better and we've needed heroic final minutes to win these last two games.

Travis Ford is recruiting some big, athletic men at SLU. G Mas looked good in their half court offense due to Livingston breaking down the Billikens defense at will. The defense by the home team continues to be an area of great concern. Easy looks in and out.
