But Duquesne is better than we are so I’m not sure this is a similar situation at all. Duquesne is a top 5 A10 team that is finally seeming to figure itself out after 3 transfers.

The situation is Dayton hasn't lost two games in a row yet (even after getting blasted by vcu, they went out and beat SLU in the very next game).

La Salle is not a better team than Mason is by a long shot, but they take chances and that's what you've got to do to win games against superior competition...take your shot. If you play not to lose you're going to lose, and probably badly, against top tier competition.

This also screws up SLU's at-large chances (and the A-10 getting multiple bids) pretty heavily.

I didn't hear that but Seth also said quote,

We were the best program in the CAA.

Tag a vcu friend. Hes right on that one...

I feel much better about this than the first Dayton game. I thought our strategy more or less lost that one...this one its more that we just have worse players so far.

Our players are below average A-10 players. Not sure they can do damage in the CAA either. Would probably be a middle of the pack CAA team with this roster.

The inconsistencies with this team in shooting, 3 point shooting, and free throw shooting is unreal... don't know whether to laugh or cry. Undersized at every position. They have zero defense and elementary offensive sets and plays.
