I'm gonna disagree on the last play. Ticket is one of the best weakside help defenders I've ever seen at this level and his length/range would be critical to getting out to contest a jumper in that situation. Cooper's responsibility is to force a pass. KE probably thought he'd get more resistance than "zero" from his 4th year guard who wants to be a pro.
Gaines wasn't in a position to provide help-side defense on the play. He was on the opposite side of the court on the perimeter, presumably guarding Bishop? I can't tell.
The two guys who could have provided help-side were Schwartz and XJ, who were on either side of the paint "guarding" what looks like Qwanzi Samuels and Hunter Dean respectively?
Henry was guarding the in-bounder for some reason.
So, if you're going to rewind that, at a minimum you put XJ on the in-bounder, and move Henry on Dean (
but really you just stick him in the middle of the paint waiting for the drive or the kick), so at the very least even if Cooper traffic cones Bamisile (his defensive positioning there was just ridiculously bad guarding his back and giving him the easy turn where there is literally no one there to help him) on that play there's at least someone there to force him to make a decision (go right at Henry, which probably would have resulted in the same thing, but maybe not; or dish to Dean and hope he finishes the play).
The play is at the end of the highlight package:
