2 critical lapses on the defensive glass in the second half. Otherwise solid. Don’t know if we were playing better or K-State relaxed on D. Maybe both.

I think they said k-State had not made more than6 3s in a game, well surprise we gave up 9.

5 turnovers agains a good defense, I’ll take that any day.

3-5 I think in our games decided by 10 or less. Difference was we won them last year.

Have no idea what we are getting for the A-10. But think it should be .500 or better. Not what we were hoping for pre season, but seems about right after last years overachievement.

Dude, K-State was winning 43-55 at the 5:33 mark and scored a total of 4 points after that. That’s not just playing lazy.

The Hewitt years really has some of us being happy about moral victories against a team without their best player where we looked like a u10 AAU team for a half.... guys have guts to make it a 1 possession game but at some point we need to stop acting like we are on the right track with our all-A10 senior pg and 7 returning guys going 6-7 in a very MILD OOC schedule

Very mild schedule my a**. Look beyond the brand names and there are a bunch of really good programs in this year’s OOC slate. But hey I’m sure you’ll have some snappy reply and attack me personally, so have at it.

For those who have suggested that KSU plays as well without Dean Wade as with him, I believe this game would suggest otherwise.

I think it is a mistake not to give the George Mason players their due from the time they started their run to the end of the game. KSU was giving the ball away, but even when Kam was hitting daggers that would have stopped a lot of teams in their tracks, this was an experienced team (actually the most experienced in the nation) that just kept coming. They had a bad start to their season, but they have been playing much better lately. It will be interesting to see how they do this season.

That game almost killed me. Bright side? Throw out the 20-2 run the last 6-7 minutes of the first half, and we outscored KState 56-39 the rest of the game. That shows what we're capable. I just assumed (wrongly) that a team with this much experience would be more consistent.
