I wouldn't call this a must-win game, but it's one I'll be watching the closest. We have a little momentum after beating James Madison and Navy. Kansas State is a very good opponent but not a team that you would get up and be ready to play (KSU is a sneaky powerhouse). Since this is a road game, against a top 50 team..I am predicting:

According to Kenpom stats, K-State's defense is outstanding, particularly with respect to:

• Defensive efficiency (2d in Div 1)
• defending against offensive rebounds (first)
• defensive turnover % (21 st)
• defensive effective FG% (23rd)
• defending 3's (12th)
• steal % (33rd)

Their main weaknesses are on offense:

• effective FG% (247th) and 3 pt % (292)
• ft % (304th)
• offensive steal % (295)

K-State is averaging 64 points per game in the 2 games since Dean Wade was injured (68 ppg for the year). They've only given up 57.8 ppg. Maybe we have a shot at beating the spread. But to come within 10 pts will take one of our better games.
