Some of my favorite pep band memories is from when we used to sit at the end of the opposing team's bench and you could get into it with the players and coaches if they didn't ignore you. Bruiser was always ready to trash talk with us.

Behind Matt Brady frustration faces, there was nothing more than I loved than seeing Bruiser Flint doing his frustrated smile as Drexel was getting their asses handed to them by 15 points. He also loved to walk on the court when we'd yell at him to get off the court.

I miss Bruiser. He was entertaining, and also seemed to be a pretty good guy contrary to his antics on the court at times.

Bruiser is an assistant coach at Kentucky now. I hope he gets another shot, but having failed twice as HC, it isn't likely. He will have to take over a very low major and turn it around.
