Tough loss tonight. Frustrating turnover rate, but good effort.
As an aside, the television feed featured a very disturbing ad for catheters, presented by a "commercial cowboy". It played a few times during the span of the game. I need to purge it from memory, but the water in my shower isn't hot enough to wash away the ickyness.
So where was grayer in the 2nd half?

Not too upset about this loss. UNI is a very good team coming off a bad loss with alot of senior starters.
Versus us, a team with 3 freshmen getting alot of playing time. Team fought hard.
We were just out-experienced tonight.
Just hope that isn't in your future...Tough loss tonight. Frustrating turnover rate, but good effort.

Only 2 turnovers in the second half, though. The first 12 minutes were about as rough as you can get...but to be down 27-9 and battle back to 53-52 is pretty promising.
Good happy hour today before the game, look forward to the next one.I am dying to see a baseline out of bounds play tonight! Also, would love to push the tempo on defense.. or just see a different defense than half court man.
Pleased with our effort. Not pleased, though not surprised, with the final result. Under Blewitt we would have folded up the tent and lost by 25. Northern Iowa, right now, is who we can and should aspire to become. Right now, they just have better players. Time will tell whether Paulsen can recruit the players we need to equal such heights. Play the freshman as much as possible because our seniors aren't taking us anywhere near the promised land. I have to admit I do like Marko's game, he has been a pleasant surprise to date. Jalen has some intangibles to work with. Shevon, still a work in progress, no hopes of the NBA as some here have professed. Holloway, done, stick a fork in him and let him ride the pine from here on out. Otis, "My man", has the heart and gives the effort of a champion. Grayer has great potential. DeAndre shows potential as well. Again, pleased with our heart, no quit in this team. If we can go 7 - 6 OOC and win 5 or 6 in conference we will have reached my prediction for the year. Still love my Patriots, still disappointed in the piss poor crowds.
Marko missing the bunny started the slide. Almost 4 minutes of scoreless offense. 7-0 UNI run pretty much put it out of reach, especially when we thought it was better to try layups instead of 3s.
What did the big banner say at half court that two people were holding up at half time?
