Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Eaglebank Arena does have some technical restrictions on how the streaming can be done. Hopefully anything of that nature can be overcome with the potential partnership.
I have heard the same about EBA

back to Towson, they are on the road their first 3 games of the year- @ us, @ Morgan St, @ Maryland- College Park. I realize those aren't long trips, but still, that's a tough way to start the season.

Towson was picked CAA preseason #2, and they do have some returning players coming back that are upperclassmen now. They'll be a tough opponent for each of those three teams.

I thought I read that Mason was taking bids to have the infrastructure upgraded, but I'm not positive.

I do know that they awarded Daktronics a $700k+ contract to upgrade the whole sound system (not sure if it was done).

I also saw they were taking bids to have all the lighting ripped out in the arena and replaced with LED lighting. I don't think that was ever awarded, but if it goes through we might finally be able to turn out the lights for introductions.

They did the sound system last year...much better!

Sorry if this was discussed somewhere else, but how in the world are individual tickets for mason games $25.00 plus the fees. Give me a break man. Bad, but up-incoming team, and a terrible arena. Come on man.

Wow. Didn't realize that they had risen that high. Weren't they $18 a couple of years ago? $25 is ridiculous...

They also had requested money to redo the roof a few years ago too. Wonder why that went by the wayside. That alone would allow for a lot of modernization. (Page 101 of the document)

I agree - $25 is too high. I bought a couple opening night tix on stubhub. Even with the crazy fees the tickets came to $19 a piece.

I was also surprised by the$25 raping for tickets. I remember it being $14 or $16 a few seasons back.

It was $25 last year....but damn, I remember when tickets were $10 at the door. I think prices went up when we switched conferences.

I understand in today's world everything is a business. but Mason needs to do better then 25$ a ticket.

Georgetown gets to play in a professional arena for 8 bucks a game and we play in an outdated arena for $25.

One day when I am rich, I will donate tickets to everyone!

$25 is pretty steep considering the state of the program. Just become a season ticket holder, tickets stayed at $16. Some seats don't require a donation. Sell the seats for $16 for games you can't make. They should sell quick considering a $9 savings.

Sagarin: Mason by .74
Kenpom: Mason by 3; predicted to be 6th in CAA

But at the CAA media day, they are picked second in the league

So any info on if Wilson is red shirting or not? There was lots of speculation but haven't heard anything definitive. I guess we will know if he plays some minutes on Saturday

So do we definitively know if the Mason streaming quality has gotten any better? Not dropping $40 to watch blurry players run around the court.
