Yeah I mean, none of the coaches mentioned have struggled in their league, but its impossible to know if they would have been able to translate that success to the A10. Paulsen won in the Patriot League too.

Prohm was probably a long shot and BCS bound from the get go, but I do remember him being a candidate or pursued. Something like that. No idea how serious it got.

Of course Prohm has struggled in the Big12, so who knows if his days are numbered.
I was starting to doubt BE’s ability to select a basketball coach. So I was curious to see how his other selections panned out. But like you said its impossible to know if they would have been able to translate that success to the A10.

I thought maybe his candidates would have made a transition to a bigger program by now.

In the same boat as you in terms of doubting. Tony Jasick has been underwhelming at Jacksonville and his days may be numbered fwiw.

Its not exactly easy to pick a winner long term. One could argue that Dave's resume was good at Bucknell and that a step up to the A10 shouldn't have been as big of a deal as it has been.

yea you can... two D1 assistant coaches in New England have just left their jobs for prep head coaching opportunities. I agree it isn't normal, but that too seems to be changing. Dude from some D1 school just left for Vermont Academy like yesterday

The new Vermont Academy coach was hired away from D3 Trinity College. Trinity is not playing basketball this year due to Covid, so it was easy for him to decide to leave. I don’t know who the other assistant is that you’re talking about but I wouldn’t be surprised if they also left a team that is not playing.

Just spoke to Zack at athletics. Obviously I'm not going to go so much into specifics but he heard my grievances to say the least. I'm not the only one sharing them obviously, so if you haven't done so already, I encourage you to speak up, call and write. As much as company lines may be said, the more any staff member hears about our care and love for the program, and the tiredness of losing, the better. It makes a difference.

Every little bit helps. I also spoke with Zach recently, and met him in person at the game. Very nice, professional guy. I'll continue to voice my thoughts (both positive and negative, as I have always done) on the program with Zach and folks like him in the AD. As long as I'm talking to them, I'm still invested. Once I stop, it'll be because I no longer care.

yeah I mean I don’t talk to him that much but I felt after Norfolk state it was time to get my thoughts across. I’m glad others do the same regardless of investment.

I am so sick of our motionless, stuck in the mud, clogged toilet offense. Even if our players were as athletic as the other A10 teams, a better looking offense would make it a little more enjoyable to watch. We rarely take open shots.

I really enjoyed watching Richmonds offense execute. They had great movement off the ball. The ball was rotated quickly and crisply. They generated tons of open shots. They only did the beat your man one on one crap (that we do all the time) when it was necessary like when the clock is winding down.

You know, when Paulsen was hired I remember watching a video of a Bucknell practice that focused on breaking full-court pressure thinking finally we will have a coach again who will be able to fix our turnover problem...

What? You mean you don't enjoy watching Jamal dribble for 25 seconds and then give it to Greg to launch the 3? Shocked I am. Shocked.
