Mason related note from our next guest Tyler Cavanaugh. Turns out Coach L was recruiting him fairly early on, then the coaching change happened. Very likely wouldn't have come to Mason because of what he was looking for in a program, but still kind of interesting.

Tyler's episode will be out on our YouTube Channel on Monday 9/19, and we have some other exciting guests lined up for the weeks to come as seasons are getting underway.

Would be interested to know if he ever has Mason fans show up to his euro games. I got my family tickets to a Dijon playoff game in 2019 when we were going to be in France about an hour away, but we were delayed and not ultimately able to make it to the game. We were gonna be decked out in Mason gear/fear the beard shirts right behind the team bench

I still get marketing emails from the team but they are all in French and I don't know how to unsubscribe.

I can see why Ryan would enjoy Hewitt's "freestyle/NBA" approach. Most players would. And as he briefly said, if you have talented enough players it could work. (ie, Chris Bosh and the FF). But, as we also saw, Hewitt did not work on making the TEAM better. And in the end, it cost him his jobs at GT and Mason.
