Oh God…..not this again. Ive heard way too much about winning with class this offseason from that moron Jed York, not here too lol. Just win baby win!

As for Lamar or Jai, I don't know about giving them a coaching spot. Out of the two I would prefer Lamar.

I hear ya, at least our program isn't run by the West Coast version of Dan Snyder. Can't believe what York has done to the Niners, and in such a short period of time.

I would be in favor of hiring any former players as Grad Assistants, but not full time assistants unless they have legitimate coaching experience, like Dorsett.

While I think Lamar or Jai could be useful, Im not sure that I want to give them a coaching spot over somebody with much more experience. Whether that be a role like an assistant or football operations or something Im not sure, becausee I do think there is a spot they can be helpful in.

My guess would be you mean scouting and recruiting talent? I don't have any doubt that Lamar and Lewis could help run practices, break down tape, or show players where they need to improve.

Of the Final Four players, I think Tony Skinn actually has the most coaching experience.

If you want to add a former player to the staff you stick him with that "player development" role or what ever that Moynihan guys title was this past season...make him earn his stripes as a college coach first. I think Tony or Lamar would do well in that role.

Yeah something like that. I'm just not sure I'd want to use a coaching spot though. But then again, I'm assuming either could give more than skeeters or wells ever did.

In the Q&A at the end of the press conference, he was asked about who would succeed him at Bucknell. He put in a plug for his associate head coach there (Dane Fisher?). Said he would discuss needs with Edwards and others in the department before making other decisions.

Skeeters was at the presser today and it seems as if he's been "running" things during the transition. I wonder what his chances are at being retained. Also anyone have any idea how asst. coaches contracts work? Are they all 1 year deals? If the head guy goes and they also go do they get a payout?

I can see Paulsen offering Skeeters a spot on his staff. Paulsen talked specifically about building relationships with AAU coaches in the DMV and that is Skeeters' area of expertise.

It also conceivably could make a difference with Gilbert.

Skeeters is trying to stay in the area for his kids, so I am sure he will do what he can to stick on the staff

I actually really like Skeeters. Real nice guy. Amongst all assistants, I felt he had the most spirit and energy during games. I felt like he used to talk/coach players up the most during games and seems like a guy that players would turn to and respond to. I wouldn't mind if he stayed and it would certainly help keeping him around to retain players, commits and recruits.

I would love for George Evans to come back to Mason and coach. I remember reading about him as a "freshman" whipping people into shape, making them get up early so not to miss class, etc. Some times a little structure is just what kids need to improve on their situation.

"On Dane Fisher, I'm afraid he's gone for the following reason. Yes, Paulsen touts him for the job. Great! But Paulsen knows as I believe I do that too many candidates for this job are going to show up who already have a winning track record at their level, i.e. Flannery and Paulsen before they came to Bucknell.

Fisher has little or no track record of coaching. We just don't know how he would do with this team, coaching wise, next three years. Probably do well? I still believe he'll get pushed aside by the resume(s) of several other candidates.

AND, when that happens, he's gone to Geo Mason as Paulsen's top assistant, to continue his outstanding recruiting. Sad but true for me."
