Now that I think about it, it makes sense that vcu was able to hire a coach before Mason. They have an AD and their coach was successful and, therefore, they knew someone might try to poach him. We don't have an AD and we all were surprised that a school would look at his record and think he was deserving of a payday.

Just playing devil’s advocate, Mason’s top target lives only about 40 minutes from campus (depending on traffic) and as an alum, I’m pretty sure he knows his way to campus. If it’s not done by the end of this week and a press conference scheduled after the Final Four, it will be another black eye for the athletic department.

I really hope you all are prepared for some Paulsen-level hire. That’s where this is heading. We’re going to hire a coach from a school that in five years will be shuttered and sued by the government for defrauding students. We’re gonna have a press conference where an interim intern to the interim AD extols the new coach’s conference title at ITT Tech. I suggest we all buckle up and simply enjoy the insanity.

Officially getting nervous - if it is going to be Tony, announcing in the midst of Miami’s final four run is the perfect opportunity to gain some national attention on their coattails.

Each second that passes Im getting closer to canceling my Patriot Club donation and season tickets. Would at least off set the money I’m spending to go to Houston this weekend.
