I would love to see what Ritchie McKay could do here but he has probably earned a better job than this already.

Liberty is a wayyyyyyy better job than Mason currently. I live near Liberty. Their facilities are as good as acc or any other big conference program. They also have one of the biggest online programs in country $$$$ and more importantly, they prioritize their athletic programs and facilities.

I would love to see what Ritchie McKay could do here but he has probably earned a better job than this already.

Williford would be a homerun. If Bennett ever left UVA, he would be next guy, so he is pretty engrained at uva and kids in high school around c-ville. It would take $$$ investment to lure him away from a great job already. And a $$$ investment to upgrade our arena and facilities

Yeah I agree, that's why I added that he is likely out of our league at this point unfortunately. He is due for an upgrade but sadly it won't be here. Seeing what FDU just did with a former D2 coach I wonder if there is a guy down there that would warrant a look? I am not familiar enough with D2 basketball to know for sure.

Not sure if its a better basketball job given their basketball conference. Their basketball arena was not great until the recent renovation. My daughter went there so I bee n to a few games for football and basketball.
