Doesn't make any sense for Cabrera to be involved other than signing off on Brad's guy. Angel is not a sports guy, and certainly not a basketball guy. This is why the president hires a guy he can trust to take care of all these type things.

I told you all on Friday that Moton was NOT the guy. I am going to toot my own horn and my sources that got it right on Friday. Tom Block is an IDIOT. He said yesterday that Moton had an offer. LOL that guy wasn't even considered.

Going forward, I have confimed from my sources, that multiple Head Coaches turned down this job. This part concerns me big time.

the concerns: chartered flights, the Patriot Center condition, and lack of funding to compete against the rest of the A10.

who to blame? 100% Tom O'WorthlessConnor who spent years upon years sitting on his a** and did not raise any money for the Athletic Department.

Our program is an afterthought and we had a lot of time finding a coach. Also per a tweet I saw, it looks like Cabrera and Edwards might be butting heads over this hire. Edwards apparently wanted this hire all to himself, and Cabrera said not so fast. I'm curious to see who shows up to the press conference and asks who really made the decisions in this hiring.

Ok lets slow down a bit. One there is little fact to support the tweet that everyone has already seen. I doubt there would be that much head hurting between Cabrera and Edwards since they are similar in thought on the AD. Cabrera hired him.

Second I am not concerned about coaches turning down the offer as Edwards probably went for many candidates that would have naturally been above our weight. I would also like more details on how many turned it down as sowmtimes things get blown out of proportion here.

Not concerned about other coaches turning down the job unless we're talking much lower tier schools. Someone like Prohm was probably going to turn it down because he will be looking for a BCS job for his next job. I mean, even UCLA got turned down multiple times last year.

And let's be real about what the 'turned down an offer' means. It probably only means that the potential coach didn't really want to talk about coming, and if they really didn't want to come then I don't want them.

But really, how many offers were made? Hopefully only one to the guy we land. If there really were multiple offers to multiple candidates made that were refused, then I really would be concerned. The reality is that good business if the official offer is really just the details, the agreement should already be in place before the offer is official.

If, at the start of the coaching search, you told me we could get a HC w/ 5 yrs experience, turned around a program, won a regular season conf title, made the tournament and nearly upset a team that lost an Elite 8 game in OT...I would've said that was probably unrealistic. So I couldn't care less who interviewed or who turned it down, although frankly, his résumé matches up well to the rumored candidates.

Is there prize for blabbing info someone gave you (likely in confidence, and that may or may not be correct) and expecting credit for sharing said info with a message board? You should be careful. One day your "source" could feed you b.s. info just to make you look bad.

There is a prize for learning info and keeping it quiet. It's called trust.
