A bit surprised Alex Smith is finally playing well. He's been mediocre to bad his whole career.

As for the Redskins they aren't going to get better until Snyder sells the team. It doesn't matter how try draft or bring in to coach, he's poison. The unfortunate truth for Skins fans is so long as they remain a cash cow Snyder is going to hang on to them. Expect another 25 to 30 years of splash offseasons and flame out coaches I'd say.

LOL...Alex Smith is the winningest qb in the league in like the past 3 years. His first 7 years he was saddled on heinous teams and some worse coaches. Hes never going to physically wow anybody, but hes turned into a damn good qb once somebody knew how to work with him.

Some of those teams we fielded, Tom Brady wouldnt have looked more than a scrub.

Just when you think Snyder is maturing as an owner, he does something bad, like showing favoritism to RGIII. He certainly has not meddled since hiring Shanny and the son of an idol, Bruce Smith. If Snyder would just hire the best GM money can buy, let the new GM pick a coach, and write the checks, maybe Snyder could overcome his own poison.
