Maybe after 8 years, Jones will finally be able win a Big South regular season championship. For craps sake Radford plays in a high school gym and has beaten 2 power five schools. They spread it out with good guards. What do we have in year four - hoping beyond hope to beat W&M??
Not BCS but there is an incredible game right now with #1 Gonzaga down by two to Creighton 71-69 with over TWELVE minutes lef tin the game!!!!
Final total points may be over 200.
Isn’t Creighton technically a “BCS team” being in the Big East?
Tiny school plus no football would make me want to stay in WCC as well. St Mary’s is usually pretty good and many moons ago Pepperdine and San Fran were as wellAh yes, you are correct. I should be used to it by now with Gonzaga, but its still a bit weird that a BCS team is playing a Non BCS team that is ranked #1 in the country.
If any team had the incentive to leave their conference for a bigger one it would be Gonzaga. But they remained loyal to the WCC. Nice to see.
San Fran is good this year... 7-1. Lost to #21 Buffalo todayTiny school plus no football would make me want to stay in WCC as well. St Mary’s is usually pretty good and many moons ago Pepperdine and San Fran were as well
Didn’t they used to be like really good for a couple decades?! 70s-80s?! Way before I was born but I remember reading they had a good programSan Fran is good this year... 7-1. Lost to #21 Buffalo today

I would imagine BYU has roughly 50x the student population that Gonzaga hasBYU plays their non-football sports in the WCC now too and they usually are decent.

Only logical place to move for Gonzaga is PAC 12 and there are many reasons why they shouldn’t and haven’t done that. Butler got admitted into the most historical conference everButler only has 4,400 students and Gonzaga has 4,965 students.
One left their conference, one stayed. Probably alot of other factors plays into it, though.
