Washingtonion, as keeper of the game threads, can I make a request for threads for each game? I'm expecting 3 or 4 games and that will be difficult to pick and choose what I want to read if everything is in one thread.

thanks!

Brooklyn roll call?? I'm pretty sure I'll be making the trip up Wednesday from Philly. Depending on when I get in, I hope to get to Fifth Sports Bar. Hopefully I'll want to stay Thursday too!!

The big factor on whether we make a deep run or not is obviously Shevon. Will he play more than 18 minutes? Can he get his offensive game going? Can he intimidate their big men early with physical dunks and ferocious rebounding? Or will he miss a few shots, turn the ball over on the double team, and get in foul trouble early, where he seems to then disappear on the bench for most of the 2nd half...

Oh, and if Otis can get going from 3 like the Richmond game, that would help too.

Looking at tickets, are they really all General Admission? Like if I get there early enough, I can sit on the floor?

Not sure where else to put this comment but I attended the evening session of the ACC games in DC, and boy are we lucky as Mason fans to have the Green Machine. There truly is no Pep band like them and once the team gets good again I'm sure the attention will be what they truly deserve.

I hope the Green Machine didn't see The Today Show this morning, because the vcu pep band was playing there at Rockefeller Plaza. That has to be salt in the wound after Doc and the band ran a campaign to be on Jimmy Fallon's show, which was unfortunately on break this week and running repeats.

Meaning that vcu's band is a piece of sh&t compared to the Green Machine.
Hey, you said it, not me. Personally, I'd love to see the A-10 bring back the glorious battles of the bands there were during the later CAA days. Either that, or have Mason play vcu in the tournament so the Green Machine could face off directly against the Peppas

While nowhere near as musically diverse or talented as the Green Machine, I have to say that UVa's pep, or "scramble" band, used to be interesting and humorous. (I used to attend UVa football games from time to time in the 90s) That is until 2003 when it was banned due to political correctness. In 2011 it ceased to be a student organization entirely and now only has someone to oversee its history and property. I saw what they have now while watching the UVa-Miami game tonight...wow, TERRIBLE AND BORING.

I was at VT's games this week at the VZ Center and echo the comments on the pep bands. VT, FSU, and Miami's pep bands are light years away from what we have at Mason. Never take for granite for what we have in a pep band, Our band is really unreal.

Open up those check books fellas
