Wow.... A-10 Struggling this year OOC. La Salle is 0-10!!

Davidson and SLU are the teams to beat. Even in a down year vcu seems to be hanging around.

What is absolutely NUTS here is that St. Boner has four wins and is ranked BELOW a zero-win LaSalle team. Cripes, who have the Boners been playing when their four wins are worse than LaSalle's zero?

Del State, Canisius, Jackson State, and Siena are there 4 wins. These poor bastards scheduled the kings of cream puffs and may the RPI gods not have mercy on your soul.

Stockard was hurt and has only played in the Bonnies’ last four games. They are 3-1 with him back in the line up with the only loss being to #17 Buffalo.

That’s not good since they are our second conference game of the season. Hopefully we don’t start 0-2

As of this morning, the A10 has fallen to 14th conference over all. The conference has 32 OOC games left to try to sneak into the top 10 but it doesn't look good.

Good thing we’re not in the running for an at-large because it’s looking like a one-bid (two max) year for the A-10.

Brooklyn is going to be crazy with
7-8 teams realistically thinking they have a chance to win their way into the NCAAs. Hope by March we are one of them.

thank you for doing that^. A10 needs to sneak a couple wins over (Syracuse, Vermont, UNC, Fla St, Kansas St, Wichita)
while simultaneously winning all of the winnable games with Harvard, NJIT, Georgia Southern, Penn St and ODU) to really get the conference RPI up to where it needs to be

Absolutely and we start tonight with the Bonnies against Vermont. Tip off is at 7PM. A road win over a top 50 RPI team will help alot.

I hope you all get used to this. The creation of the AAC destroyed the A10.
There are a bunch of reasons why the A10 isnt what it used to be, but I'm curious as to how the creation of the AAC is what destroyed the conference. The AAC's creation was a result of the Big East dropping football and those football schools coming together.
Temple left the A10 for the AAC; no other current AAC school used be in the A10. Butler and Xavier left the A10 for the new Big East. Could SLU and Dayton make the same jump when the Big East's tv contracts are up for renewal? Maybe, maybe not. But I would say the Big East has been more of a factor than the AAC.
