I got the final sales total tonight. He didn’t have the number of items sold (I will find that out tomorrow), but the final dollar amount was $10,122. That’s pretty remarkable, especially considering it was only advertised on here and with 4 tweets on my personal account (two of which I had to delete).

Imagine how much better they could do with the social media resources of the bookstore?!?! I think this proves our point - the demand is there.

Sucks they are having supply issues on items and sizes. Maybe with the results of the sale they’ll be more willing to add more options next time.

Will be interested to know how many items/unique buyers, but no matter what, 10k+ is impressive. Collegiate licensing agreements typically have a royalty rate of 10-15%. So I’d say Gunnie just contributed $1,000 - $1,500 to Athletics, and that should be recognized.

Agreed -- this would be great to coincide with season ticket renewals in the summer or something along those lines. Make it so orders arrive a week or two before the first game to kick start engagement on social media.

If we can get the new designs from someone in the athletic department as soon as the players/staff get the new gear, I don't think it would be a problem.

I've seen that before - it's a pretty big gamble because you really have no idea of what you are getting. No pics of the actual jersey. Having said that, go for it! I would love to see what the finished product looks like.

They can't do the Mason jersey in the Mason fonts, but I've bought a few blank jerseys that match our style trim. They've shipped, but they are coming from overseas and haven't arrived yet. I'll add vinyl Mason names/numbers myself and see how they come out. They don't have the exact match for our home white jersey, but they have the others:

Hit or miss... but it can be pretty good quality. A Dayton fan posted on twitter of his DHGate Jersey. The top one was from DH Gate compared to the bottom picture from Dick's Sporting Goods. I'm sure the lighting is off bc the DHGate one looks almost orange.

For what it is worth, related to the quality of DHGate jerseys. I have 4 Caps Jerseys. The first one I bought from the official store and it cost around of $250 (wanted to give them their rightful business).

I later, over a period of time, ordered 3 more form DHGate and the quality is almost as good as the original, and one of them I can't tell the difference. They look almost identical. I think I paid about $20 for the DHGate versions. The only downside is the ~2 month delay in getting them.

Just a follow up - I got the black jersey yesterday and did the vinyl letters/numbers last night. The jerseys aren't anything special - probably what you would expect for a sub $30 jersey. Still waiting on the cream and the green jerseys. For the price, I have no complaints.
