Does anyone know if Hewitt plans on using Vaughn Gray at all? Kind of weird how VG has the swingman/interchangeable position height Hewitt likes and yet Hewitt has stuffed him in the doghouse.

Hewitt knows there is a guy named Vaughn Gray on his team right?

When asked about the depth — or lack thereof — at shooting guard this summer at a practice open to fans, Hewitt said Holloway and Gray will be getting a lot of minutes. How exactly he expects a kid to play a major role after burying him on the bench remains to be seen.

The graduation of Sherrod and Allen obviously opens up a ton of playing time in the backcourt, so I hope VG puts the past behind him and embraces the opportunity. It's a great chance to get some experience and hopefully launch a long career playing pro ball overseas.
