Auburn v. Richmond (both undefeated) and Dayton v. VT (both undefeated) shaping up to be good matchups today. Looking more and more like a powerhouse year for the A10. Hope we can keep up...

Don't know that we've ever encountered this as Mason fans, but our hope in the non-conference is to just not have any really bad losses. Big wins will be there to be had in the conference. Crazy.

So we had 4 games against top 50 RPI teams in conference, 5 against top 100. Ironically, our best OOC win that season was against Harvard (RPI 35), worst loss N.C. State (RPI 125).

The SOS rankings don't make those two seasons close at all

The SOS number is arbitrary and basically irrelevant at this point, less than a quarter through the schedule. But it seems to compare favorably to 05-06 — we’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out by March.
