Fischer and Kelly have been with DP since Bucknell. Both were assistant coaches at different times under DP when he was at Williams.

I think Fischer would leave for a Patriot League HC job or a high-end D-III job in the NESCAC or UAA conference.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure they got Kier, Mar, Greene and Hartwell. Not sure about any of the other guys.

Kier and Mar are the only ones I know for sure they got.... Greene I am almost positive they didn't. and Hartwell is anyone's best guess but I credited him to Paulsen because that is what I heard

Yep, I think they were ready for the old man to be moved out. This is a good job, so I'll be curious to see who they consider/get.

Curious what you (ehoops) thinks of that interview also. DP being pretty honest isnt something we are used to. Or maybe he really believed Reuter was all conf.

Former A10 Temple is also getting a new coach next season. I had no idea Fran Dunphy knew last April this was it and was coaching as a lame duck this season. I wonder if Penn St goes after him or Martelli given the important of the Philly market to the Nittany Lions

Something about the AD's comments doesn't sit right with me either. A couple of quotes below:

Bodensteiner also told the AP that she would let Martelli address whether he had a chance to retire on his own terms, but Martelli told the media outlet that he was spending the day with his family and declined further comment.

In the interview, the AD said she is looking to move quickly to replace Martelli and hire a coach who can "build a culture."

Alot of people....especially people looking for the their first HC gig. College athletics is a business and sometimes it stinks just like the real world.

And I am sure the Univ Pres and Board would have said something if they felt that strongly about how he was to be replaced. So apparently they weren't concerned.
