Wow!Final: #9 Saint Joseph's 66 - #1 Richmond 61
Reynolds scored 30 points.
First have UMASS beat vcu. Then UMASS can loseThat is a good point, but it is a bad look that the A10 champion is leaving. So, no UMass. Also, no vcu.

I certainly want Dayton in the final, if we are to get two teams, I want Dayton's resume to be as strong as possible - especially with them slipping lately. So are we hoping for a St. Joes-Loyola-Chicago final then? If Dayton makes it I don’t think they’re going to lose.
Dayton is #21 in the NET (translates to 5 seed). One analyst said today after the Richmond loss that Dayton is IN the NCAAs no matter what they do in the A10 Tournament. Them making it to the finals insures a decent seed. Certainly they wouldn't want to fall to 7-9 seed where you likely have to play a #1 or 2 seed even if you win your first game.I certainly want Dayton in the final, if we are to get two teams, I want Dayton's resume to be as strong as possible - especially with them slipping lately.
In my opinion probably not. Richmond's performance in their out of conference was not too good. Mid-Major programs need to be near flawless (no bad losses) in overall performance to get at large bid. The rematch loss against Mason looks bad for Richmond. I expect to see them in the NIT. The recent changes in the NIT however heavily favors awarding bids to power conference teams though. I could be very wrong on this and we might see no teams from the A10 in the NIT this year. Now I don't feel so bad about GMU losing to Saint Joseph's. I wonder if Richmond will be in the bubble talk.
That was one long scoring droughtSt. Bonaventure 75 Loyola Chicago 74 F/2OT
Imagine being a Loyola fan right now... ouch
Duquesne leads by 2 at the half, 30-28The men’s tournament going the same way the women’s did—the 1,2, and 4 seeds all lose. Dayton is the only top 4 team still alive and they are getting worked early by Duquesne so we will see.
How quaint. New coach, new roster, new style and vcu still winning when it counts.
Christ Almighty.
