A-10 folks are gonna keep sleeping on Mason until the team finally gives them a reason to do otherwise. Hopefully that happens this season.

Well, from my view, at least George Mason's logo is legible. Richmond's logo looks like "Boris the Spider"—you know... as the song goes? *SPLAT!*

I know nothing, but, I am totally hoping SLU nosedives since I am tired of everyone predicting them to go from the bottom to the top and I can stomach the thought of that quick of a turnaround for them.

It’s all based on Avila being an all-American candidate. If he’s not that good they won’t be anywhere near the top.

From what I understand he’s like Grant Golden but better. He’s going to be a massive PITA to play against.

My hot take of the season is that they will be middle of the pack. I’m not a believer that Avila is the real deal and I think he’ll struggle having to guard more athletic A10 big men night in night out. They might end up shooting 100 3s a night though, will be entertaining to watch offensively.

This will probably age like a dog turd in the desert.

SLU is gonna be a handful offensively, but Schertz’s teams weren’t great on defense in the MVC and as noted Avila is gonna have to guard more athletic bigs in the A-10. Expect them to be in lots of high-scoring games.

11 pt underdogs at Marquette and 16 at #2 Duke.

Anyone who subscribes to Kenpom can tell us where we started last season? I feel like it was in the 125-150 range. We wound up 97 to end the season. Would be nice to jump
30-40 spots again this season…

Posh Alexander and Zed Key probably.

Hamad Mousa is a really highly rated freshman too.

So you’ve got Posh Alexander, Malachi Smith, Javon Bennett, Enoch Cheeks, Nate Santos and Zed Key as your top 6.

You are right they are going from a big centric to a wing centric team but they’re probably going to be really good again.

Kenpom had us at #164 at the beginning of last season, but jumped to #124 after winning our first 2 games and the data analytics began to kick in.
